Jenny is delighted that she was asked to speak at this Best Practice Forum at the House of Lords, hosted by the Institute of Recovery from Childhood Trauma, on 1th June 2026.
Across the morning, contributors will share diverse perspectives and lived experiences from those beginning to introduce supervision in educational settings, to organisations with long-established, embedded models rooted in therapeutic and relational practice.
Together, we will:
- Explore what supervision looks like in practice across different contexts
- Consider how it can support staff wellbeing and sustainable practice
- Reflect on organisational responses to distress, emotional work, and burnout
- Engage with emerging thinking around quality standards and national frameworks
- Identify barriers, facilitators, and next steps for the sector
The forum features contributions from nationally recognised organisations and sector leaders, alongside practitioner voices, offering a rich and grounded dialogue between policy, practice, and lived experience.
This is an opportunity to think together, connect with others, and shape the future of supervision in education.
