Collaborations

#TeamADL

I am very proud to be associated with #TeamADL, In December 2021 I became the DEO (Deputy Executive Officer), supporting Anita Devi (Founder and CEO) in the management and strategy of the organisation.

I am on the TeamADL Editorial board promoting  #SENCO5ADay. I addition to this I provide webinars and services for #TeamADL on Supervision, check out their Eventbrite Page.

I am also a delivery partner on the 365send Project, an amazing 3 year project covering 6 people groups and 5 innovation strands to support settings with a daily investment for inclusion.

Anita Devi and I also co-wrote a book called Journeying to the Heart of SENCO Wellbeing, and it is published by Routledge. It is available here, or via Amazon

HeadsUp4HT

A network for headteachers;  past, present and future.

I have been a member of HeadsUp4HT since December 2020. I am often found at the Wednesday evening and Saturday morning support sessions. I have laughed, I have cried, I have got angry, become hopeful and felt truly connected to an amazing group of former, current and aspiring heads. The network and all it provides through the case studies, buddy system, crisis coaching Hopes4Ed events and the group sessions are all invaluable to me.

As a contributor to their amazing work, I offer an exclusive deal to all members of HeadsUp and their leadership team. HeadsUp members get a 10% discount on supervision and coaching sessions, and reduced rates for the bespoke wellbeing projects and staff CPD or wellbeing gatherings.

GLINT

I am the chair of the board and  non executive director of this small social enterprise based in Lincolnshire. It provides Horse Assisted Development and Therapy, to support children, young people and adults with additional needs with social and personal development. It assists in self confidence, reducing anxiety, raising self esteem and in communication. I am also a co-facilitator working at times alongside the CEO, delivering wellbeing and leadership development workshops.

As a social enterprise Glint can also support companies and organisations with their CSR (corporate Social Responsibility) and also supports teams and organisations with leadership development and emotional and mental wellness development or support.

Community Foundation for Calderdale

Community Foundation for Calderdale supports charities and voluntary groups across Calderdale, working alongside these groups to address inequalities and create opportunities for those who need them the most.

As a Friend of the foundation I know I am supporting the work that is done to support vulnerable people and families in my local area. It also means that I can connect with charities and volunteer organisations across Calderdale to see how I can support and promote them. And it also means I am connecting with other values based businesses that care about the region we live and work in.

CFFC says ‘At Community Foundation for Calderdale, we believe in creating opportunities for everyone, especially in communities who need it the most. Working alongside our partners, our funding and expertise generate positive change in these communities, building a better future for everyone’.

Education Support

Do you want to feel reinvigorated, energised and develop in your role?

Now the time to pause, reflect and reconnect with your sense of purpose.

If this resonates, read about our fully funded wellbeing support for school leaders.

Peer support

Our peer groups aim to improve your wellbeing, and give you the space to process high-pressure situations with other school leaders.

You’ll make new connections and develop new insights and perspectives.

We will help you feel better and be the most effective leader possible, sharing new strategies and ideas.

It is just 90 minutes, once a month over six months. It is an investment in you that will benefit your whole school.

Your sessions will be run by a professional facilitator, who is a trained coach with experience of working within the education sector.

Our Creative Connection

Our Creative Connection is a Social Enterprise that uses Photography for Social Change.

Based in Huddersfield but working across the North of England, our aims are to:

–          Help those who are often unheard gain a voice

–          Encourage critical conversations that bring about change

–          Support health & wellbeing through creative expression

We achieve this through participatory projects such as Photovoice which provides a means for people to show rather than tell how they feel about things that are important in their life.

In our work we use Photography to disrupt the over reliance on words within organisations and in community settings, bringing a more visual aspect to dialogue – we believe that seeing what someone else sees is more powerful than being told about it.
