Jenny is a trustee and director for Halifax Opportunities Trust
As part of her commitment to give back to the community, Jenny is donating her time and skills to Halifax Opportunities trust. As well as being a trustee and director, she has taken the responsibility of being the Safeguarding Trustee.
Part of the reason why Jenny chose HOT to be a trustee for is because it is a community anchor.
As a community anchor organisation we build strong relationships with other businesses, groups and charities.
We work with individuals and families, as well as local organisations and groups, within the community to ensure the things we do are relevant, valuable and accessible. It’s been proven in many studies that community organisations aid social cohesion, community engagement, improved health and wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
