Jenny is celebrating volunteers week by chairing the Glint Board meeting & celebrating all those that volunteer, however they do it!
Jenny has been a board member and then Non-Executive Director of Glint for 3 years. She is now the chair of the board and loves this type of volunteering. being a governor or trustee is one way of volunteering, but there are so many different ways you can volunteer. If you live in Calderdale then the VSI Alliance will be able to chat with you about how, when and where you can volunteer within this region. It might be regular, it might be adhoc, it might be with your time or with resources, no matter how you do it, volunteering is great for your wellbeing and development, and great for the community too!
