What is supervision?
Effective supervision reduces stress and improves emotional and mental health.
Purplemoon supervision can be 1:1 or group and provides a safe environment where the supervisor has no agenda or emotional or work connection to what is being discussed as they are not part of the organisation.
Having been a Designated Safeguarding Lead, a SENDCo and a senior leader in four schools in four local authorities Jenny is fully aware of the differing aspects, tensions, struggles and joys that working in school can bring.
Jenny is insured, accredited by the APT for Clinical Supervision and she ensures confidentiality for the supervisee and for the organisation, she works within a clear policy with a contract and scaffold that will be fully accessible for all.
Purplemoon can work for individuals or for an organisation and will produce an overview report on the supervision if required, without breaking confidentiality for the person/s involved.
For governors or trust boards, Purplemoon can also produce and deliver presentations about how supervision can benefit their organisation and how it can be tailored to their needs, fitting in with new DfE Charter and meeting Employee Assistance Program needs. Supervision positively impacts on staff job satisfaction, retention and reduces staff absence due to stress/anxiety issues. Supervision is not therapy, but has therapeutic benefits.
Cost can be per session, or a sequence of sessions built into a time frame for 1 person or a number of people.
